TODAY IS YJC'S MATH AND SCIENCE Quiz!
I hosted Foon Yew High, from Johore Bahru, and seriously! singapore students are really reallly realllllllly ( i cannot emphasise more) lucky. Malaysia's education system is so much more (rather, DOUBLE MORE) vigorous than s'pore's.

Look at this:

*Crazy studying for 6 continuous days
*JC subject combi- Triple science/Trilingual ( English, chinese, malay) and Math
*Exams to stream best students
*FYI, Foon Yew High is like singapore's Hwa Chong.

Don't belittle this small list that bears enormous discipline and intelligence. Although their performance that day was not impressive enough to wow, their notes did that. It was damn detailed! My god.

And I must stress, they are really a nice bunch of people to mix around! =D
They even offered me to go to their school's event day, and willing to bring me around Johore Bahru. I need to spend off the ringgits at home!

fantastic movie of the year!!


It's a must catch blockbuster movie, definitely have to be on your list of what-if-i'm-bored.


I don't think I'll go on to elucidate the whole action pack and raging testerone-fueled war in the movie, I only have one word to say, "Impressive."

Expect a whole lot of action pack going around, bombings,sophisticated machineries, and also, voices by the main leads were fabulous!!

After this fist-clenching movie, it was a sumptuous treat at Grand Hyatt Hotel!
My mother, suddenly feeling rich, took my sis and I to have a feast! All the enthusiasm was lost, when we look at the menu. It wasnt the extravagant prices that caused our mouth to gag wide. It's just that we seldom visit such restuarants, that we're lost at what to order; spoilt for choice. There was so many I wanted to try, and seriously, since it was my first time there, I didnt know what was their speciality either.

And like this, we had a full dinner over at Grand Hyatt.

Singapore Poly Band

can I ever emphasise enough on how grand it is? Okay, so it IS a polytechnic afterall, it IS a band concert that I've enjoyed first time. I'll let you in on a secret: I sleep in such concerts. I'm interested in going for the end of year's concert by SP again! ^^

this steamboat is very different.
it's japanese style!
we had udon and japanese rice as staple, and it's good la!
loads of salmon and scallop passing around,
not forgeting the ever-full-of-juice mushrooms.

Pearl would scream.
loads of liquor. loads and loads of them.
and all are BRANDED!
branded aside, it's kept for god knows how long,
that the dust is not less than an inch.

what with all the steamboat; udon and choc fondue/ice-cream and also IKEA meatballs,
i just cant imagine how much weight must i lose.
how i wish sometimes i could lose my tastebuds temporarily,
like it would automatic sense that i eat too much and then shuts down.
