Welcome back into the world of cars again on my humble blog.
Was just discussing on the topic of cars with my papa, and that got me spurred to post this up.

I remember I had a debate with someone I cannot be bothered to go recall who is it, and whoever is, is not of any relevance anyway, because I will still stick to my stand:

Continental cars, are still the BEST CARS.

alright. In practical context, of course, many have argued with me that Cherry QQ is good enough. That cute, cheap, lovable car of everyone. Why drive such an expensive car, with expensive repair fees and expensive maintanence fee?

The catch is... if we're going to talk about practicality, then there's nothing to talk about, this post would be meaningless and then... we will just say, Cherry QQ's the BEST.

We shall start paragraphs with quotes from my papa!

Safety
"What's the point with fast pick-up speed, and no safety? So what if your car can reach 100km/hr in 3s? So you'd die in 3s! As compared to a car that has a longer pick-up speed, yet is able to ensure your safety, which only continental cars are able to give you that reassurance."

Look at the form of the above car. Can you imagine what will happen if it's a japanese car? You see, japanese car has such fast pick-up speed and also able to speed in such short distances, is because it's LIGHT. But Aston is not! Its HEAVY. And look at the car door, it's been ripped off. I did bet you, run at the speed this aston ran and crash into a freaking wall, the japanese car is a goner.

Safety? ta dah. Japanese car cannot provide you that.

Well, if you're talking about Speed...

Speed
Without any doubts, OBVIOUSLY continental cars run FASTER and LONGER than your average subaru wrx imprenza. There's a reason why japanese SPORTS cars are not in the list of Grand Touring. While I do not deny that japanese cars can outwin a Merc or Ferrari at short distances, but how about LONG? The engine of japanese cars is not able to sustain the speed. We're talking about, let say, speeding at 240km/hr for 5 hours.

To compare good engines, we compare torques of cars.
For those who understand the humble stuffs I'm rattling away on my blog,
to consider a good car is, lower RPM and higher output.

Comparing Subaru WRX to Alfa Romeo Spider,
Subaru needs to gain up to 5600RPM to hit max output.
Whereas... Alfa Romeo just need 4500RPM to hit max output.

Ta dah. Alfa Romeo is better. In terms of speed and engine.

*Note: This subaru that I've compared, is Turbocharged. You have to multiply 1.4 to the engine, which is about 3,000CC car. and Alfa Romeo is just a 2198CC car. this proves alfa romeo to be a better car, smaller engine but higher torque.

Last but not least... comfort.

ah. you tell me. Leather seats... or faux leather seats?

This new baby, Lamborghini Spyder of v10, GOD. this is what i'm talking about fast indulgences.

Running at a speed of 314km/h, see your hair become an alfredo hairstyle! hah! i mean look la, it's a convertible. If only this lambo is hot red, god, this is sexy.

I LIKE THE DESIGN OF ROLLS ROYCE! =) it's so hmm... how to explain? classy and glam. Just imagine being chauffered to prom in RR, i bet'cha did be the limelight of the whole entrance.


Know why RR is so exp, although it's not a fast car? it's because it's hand-assembled, and it's seats are hand woven. it's the quality, not the speed. =)

a v10, running at 330km/h

This is the only Porsche model i like out of so many, and i dont really like Volkswagon. I dont like the cut of the car, not as smooth as Lambo's. And my guy friend says that girls prefers porshe to lambo, cause lambo to squarish.

oh. COME ON.

LAMBO's so perfect! a lambo portrays agility! it's so smooth, like slicing up the air as it glides.

Since it's my blog, i post only my FAVOURITES. hahah!


it's so stupid to purchase an exotic car in Singapore, just imagine, only getting to speed your way in that Lamborghini in the causeway to MALAYSIA. FINE. i'd give you all the way to Thailand, even if the car can take you all the way to there, i doubt you can make it there, i mean you'll be bored and everything.
