Project Starfish!

Post by post, I will relate stuffs in Vietnam, a little with what happen daily.
Souvenirs for students in Chau Binh Secondary Commune School was quite tedious.
Initially, I had only thought of doing paper roses for the morning classes, just another way to say good bye before leaving for the City.
I went to kit yu's room to start doing card for Mr Andrew of Singapore YMCA, and also faithfully continuing to do the left over roses, that Yuan Xia and Qing Qing had done.
Then Zhi Yu came in to get crayons, saw me doing roses, he said
"I thought of making use of the water bottles that we have. But I have no idea what to do out of them."
As water in Vietnam were not potable, hence there were like loads of empty bottles around.
and this was the end product.
The process was fun! Guoquan helped too, and below is Zhi Yu folding coloured papers to attach to the bottle caps.
Me writing finish "Good Luck" and "Study Hard" on both the front and flip side of the papers.
It's..awesome.
The feeling of doing something for people you hate to leave,
you feel satisfaction and hope that whatever you do,
your students will love it.
Hmmm.
today had archery training.
and after stopping this sport for like near 2 months,
i had to go back to basics.
it sucks.
my scaplar muscles are weak.
more training!

Is it stress or what?
when i saw my blood bag being filled up,
i got high, yes, with Kenneth's choice of techno.
sadistic?
aku tak tau.

I'm irrevocably in love with ARCHERY.
and of course, my new found teammates in archery, Nicole and Vivien.
Dynamic and energetic they are,
funloving and bull-shitty they are,
the only source of motivation for me.
...
ok.
that's exaggerating.
Mr Ng, (my coach, crappy one) took a shot of nicole at this gorgeous sunset in sch!
he has really good photography skills la!
i feel.. so small.

10m RANGE!
after shooting 30m range for some time, i realised i couldnt shoot 10m anymore.
to even hit the target face do you know how many times must i try!?
blah.

Nicole's sadistic.
she tortures herself with archery.

After messaging chao that it
was possible to bleed in archery,
like a curse taking effect,
i took off my arm guard to only be greeted by this fresh cut.

GORGEOUS daybreak taken by chao from his room.
how i wish my room's facing the sun rise direction,
although it does have it's disadvantages such as sleep being disturbed by the morning sun and stuffs.

CJC's having archery as their NYAA gold! XD
awesome yeah?
any takers? come archery!
it's fun and free tanning and socialising too!!
oh!
notice the two small kids at the foreground!
so cute la!
shooting with a huge bow (compared to their height)!!

From the distance you're looking at this photo, it's about 30m.
that's the distance you'll have to shoot if you're taking part in compeition.
the clouds,
reminds me of cool, refreshing mint.
reminds me of original candy floss (if there ever was one)
reminds me of pillow
with the azure blue,
and birds literally chirping,
i'm no longer in singapore.
Nicole's awesome shots

And these are mine! =D
I've a good news i want to share with you, my readers.
Although it isnt confirmed,
and i dont want you to mistaken me for boasting.
in any case, it's pure pleasure to share news with friends viewing this blog of mine.
With the assist of various materials and friends, notes, teachers, my essay on Land Degradation has been chosen in a competition i took part in UNSCD (United Nations) and i stand a chance of going to New York this coming may, for 2 whole weeks!
A French friend of mine,
he congratulated me and gave me this line in french,
"j'èspére que tu sera choisi afin que tu puisse allez a new york en tous cas si tu réussi tu aura de la chance parceque j'adord cette ville"
i hope that you will be chosen so that you can go to New York in any cases if you achieved you will be lucky because i love this city
so awesome! he gave me a clearer view of what i was supp'd to focus on !
OH.
my class was asking me if i were proud to be a YJC student.
now i can reply with head held high,
yes i do!
YJC results for Project Work is astonishingly remarkable!
or at the very least shocking to me!
We have 50% of the cohort getting A and 95% of the cohort getting A and B!! AND our college beat the national average!
*SINGS SCH SONG.
hahhaaha!
and yet passes another week

LEAP YEAR'08
{ Friday, February 29, 2008

KAWAII NE!
how i wish i can own these thumbdrives!
then i can drool over it when my stomach grumbles.!
IT'S THIS TIME OF THE YEAR!
LEAP YEAR~!
everyfouryears!
i fight to keep my eyes awake just to blog on this day that i have never valued it until now.
and i wonder why.
FEBRUARY 29TH.
yeah man~
CCA selection results were out today,
and i got into my first choice!
ARCHERY.
so cool sia!
i thought i would end up in air weapons,
cause the person-in-charge was telling me that they needed girls to join competitions,
and i have 99.9999...% of entering that CCA.
thankgod.
i got the bow and arrow which to me,
is way cooler than the air rifle.
however, the bottomline is still aiming and shooting.
tone those flabby arms of mine.
=_=
I'm restraining myself to the once-a-week-com kind of routine,
so dont expect much from this blog.
BUT I'M NOT CLOSING THIS BLOG OK.
so do continue to come and check if i update, alright?
so hectic!
AND MIND YOU.
it's already hectic without gp and pw(project work),
what if i have both!?
i've NO TIME MAN.
no time!
argh.
if only i can buy time.
if only i can steal time.
if only... i can create time.
i'd manipulate every homosapiens.
conning them into purchasing time.
people would go on their knees and worship me!
UNLESS.
the secret of time is leaked, i'm king.
the world's for my taking.
alright alright.
i'm self-delusional.
hahahahhahah!
i need some brain-reliever,
so i'm relying on clubxq/internationalchess/mahjong internet games.
other than that would be pool/movie/shopping/manga/reading/stoning
anymore no-brainer-brain-reliever recommendations?
not that chess i dont have to think,
i can relieve stress by playing
hahahhaha.
weird i know.
hey, isnt that a virtue of mine?
