Street in Vietnam. Looks alot like hk doesnt it?

I'm back from Vietnam,
and it's such an enriching experience.
I've found myself to be envious about my own life.
Now looking back, me envying others seems ludicrous.
Children in Chau Binh Commune Secondary are just pure lovable.
They may not be cute, clean or even able to speak in proper English,
but their eagerness in learning, their politeness, to learn to be grateful and not taking things for granted,
is what I've learnt from them.
We may be the ones teaching,
but we're the ones learning from them.
They are so fun to be with!
Playing of chinese chess,
teaching me vietnamese,
correcting my language,
dancing with me,
talking to me,
looking at me,
everything.
These,
are what we call,
good memories.
Road work was most definitely a test on efficiency
teamwork
and physical strength.
Look at Singapore,
we have cranes
cement mixers,
fabricated flats,
clean sewage system,
proper electricity.
I know it sounds social studies, bear with me.
Look at Chau Binh.
Nothing.
If you even try to pee in their toilet,
that would make it the best memory of this trip.
No flushing systems
sanitary pads were everywhere
urination and excretion
you would just scream.
yet they are still happy.
we played with them,
learn with them
teaching each other.
You can compare,
city and rural
the difference in characters,
are that they are so much, so much friendlier.
They would nod their head to acknowledge your prescence
They would help us with our work: painting, plastering of floor grounds.
Don't belittle these jobs, they are very sweet, when you're tired of squatting for the past hours, painting up and down.
They may not be provided with good education
They may not excel in their studies
They may be poor in their language,
but they are definitely the best in character.
Alright, enough praising of the students.
We visited many areas,
which I will post the pictures some other days.
The city area is frightening.
You'd be amazed at the traffic in Saigon.
my god.
The traffic light is as good as not having one!
So what if the light turns red for drivers?
They just CHIONG!
The drainage system is...
well.
yeah.
flooding when it pours at Saigon.
I LOVE DRAGON HOTEL!
I LOVE EVEN MORE WHEN WE JUST STAY UP ALL NIGHT TO PLAY CARDS IN THE HOTEL!
hahahahaha!
I LOVE VIETNAM OCIP 08
