Do you believe in luck?

This was supposedly to be a KI (Knowledge Inquiry) question, at least that's what Rossen told me.
Well, answering that question:
It is hard to judge sometimes, whether this good reaping is just pure luck or coincidental, or is it really due to our hardwork, blood, sweat and tears. Luck, people believe that in order to have luck, you have to be at the right place, right time, at that moment and you will prosper in whatever you do. Sometimes, it is just when someone else being humble, saying it is pure luck that he could get such results.
Luck, is also an excuse for getting mediocre or below expectation results. It is often blamed for the consequences that comes after a bad decision. So, is it really luck or is it that the person is not putting enough effort, body, mind and soul into the assignment given?
Therefore, my point is luck is just an excuse for humble pie, an abused excused for something that has failed terribly.
Rossen and I know what's so difficult about KI,
- To hard to explain your stand
- One point to write, but it is that short. It's an essay, requiring at least 500 words
- What examples are there to substantiate your arguements?
ta dah! that's why KI need such a high standard in English.
hmmm, WR is slowly driving me up the wall.
so are the coming exams.
