You're about to view something that maybe terribly opinionated, about 634 cats are killed in the making of this blog, and 356 hours of PI has been done to credit this blog The insanity level and mundane level is never on par, there would be paramedics of course, if you have a housephone/hp/whichever way you feel it's most comfortable to save your own life. So eat your bibimbap while reading this ingenious blog of mine, it probably makes your stay more bearable.

Long awaited event!
it's been such a long time since i've seen so many cosplayers at the same place again!
despite not packing my bag yet for obs, i still went to the event, at SUNTEC!
AWESOME DOLFIE I CAME ACROSS AT SUMAIRU.

Me and Kat had nothing better to do! so we tried on the head dresses there! XD
Kat says i look like a baby like that! hahahhaha!
kinda a bit too bright to see clearly the hat she was wearing. >_< ME AND KAT!

OBS
*Notice the line at the sky! in the foreground of the pic below!!

It's an strong windy rainy day when we arrived at Puggol jetty, all ready to rough it out at the famous recognised camp, Outward Bound Singapore.

5 Days 4 Nights, it's my first time experiencing a camp in OBS, and also fresh in camping at Pulau Ubin. That type of sian-ness i had there waiting for the boat to arrives is immense, hearing from what i heard about the camp, itch and not bathing, just totally had to bear with it.

Photos not in sequence, we couldnt bring any technology with us during the camp, so i couldnt really take all the breathtaking sights my group, COLUMBUS came across while trekking.

These photos were taken last day, departure from Pulau ubin.

Day 1:
Just rock climbing and more belaying!
Learnt how to pitch tent, for the first time in my life. So noob la.
Dinner we had rice! Cooked with solid fuel!
There were still proper toilets and everything.
Packed haversack, preparing to go over to another campsite the next day.
FREAKING HEAVY BACKPACKS.
"no worries. the backpacks are less than 15kg."
Did kayaking!
2nd time though, but we learnt how to capsize our kayak, and also see our instructors demonstrating deep water rescue.
sadly, we couldnt perform deep water rescue, because of the coming thunderstorm, we had to take shelter.
After a while, we did kayak. In the rain.
all the way to camp site 2.
The first day was ok...
Until, we know that we cant bath and have proper toilets.
Day 2
Survived with powder bath, damn cooling with prickly heat powder.
And morning, it was cold!
In the tent, you feel it's hot.
you get out of that tent, you feel sea breeze.
-.-
Our trekking begins with reading the map, and navigating our way out, by having to clear those check points.
WE TREKKED FOR A BLOODY LIKE 6 HRS ALL WITH THE AIM TO CAMPSITE 1
But all was worth it, when we could climb to the highest peak in Pulau Ubin, do boat rafting in the Quarry, which was rich with minerals and crystal clear water!
Lunch and dinner for simultaneous days were just bread, biscuits, and more water with chlorine!!

Day 3

Campsite 1 looks like Hwa Chong JC. Although HCJC not so big like campsite 1, it do have that slight resemblence.

ALAS, we have proper toilets.!

Dinner was of no surprise, instant noodles.

Day 4:

In the morning, we were tasked to do many games for "fund-raising" to build a catapult!

AWESOME MAN.

It's my first time constructing a catapult la!

and it was almost...successful! hahahaha!

AND THEN. IT WAS MORE TREKKING BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CAMPSITE. -.-
1/2 hour, trekking on 101 steps.

back there in no time, we start to pack our store!
almost had a heart attack knowing we losed so many things la!

but it's just that we're blind. -.- we have it, just that we missed it. vah.

at night, we had a feast!

for the first time in 5 days, i finally get to eat vegetables and eat EGGS.
OMFG. it's only through OBS, how i appreciate rice, fresh veg and EGGS.
It's sucky to know that every dinner would be instant noodles, and how lucky it is to have half-stale bread for lunch and biscuits to sustain your hunger, chlorine water to quench your thirst.

Day 5:

All are ready and set to go home!

I MISS MOS BURGER/PEPPERLUNCH/PASTAMANIA/MILK TEA/ICE LEMON TEA/AIRCON/HANDPHONE/INTERNET/TOILET/MUMMY'S COOKING/PAPA/MEIMEI/MUMMY...and the list goes on.

I love it when we could all lie down at the jetty, looking up at stars and writing our journal.
The sea breeze was exceptionally smoothing, telling me that all those trekking was worth it. =)
Our Instructor!
JILL!
Dreamy environment we camped in, we dont get to see this in Singapore.

OBS taught me loads of stuffs i cant explain.
OBS let me experience different emotions and control.
OBS is an expedition i cant forget.
