can you believe it? the newspapers, our contextual knowledge, our vibrant presentation just sum up to whole of GOOD COMPLIMENTS!

Praised for our well-read knowledge, (pretty proud of it, thanks to newspaper cutting) we're gleaming ear to ear.

HAD PEPPERLUNCH WITH PEARL TO CELEBRATE~!

Today; "Ambassodor" of IKEA.

With 2 guys from PHS, introduced by Edna

Jason and Alwyn.
2 funny brats! ahhahahahahhahahahha esp that Jason. =D
Alwyn is all so english and was the ideal gay partner with Jason lar.

Total 8 hrs of working time, and thought it's hard work, the voucher on the meatballs is REWARDING. Pampered myself with 15 chicken meatball ( we're in the staff canteen, there are malays, so cant take beef and pork meatballs)
we had to give out smaller versions of recycling bags with NYGH and Beatty Sec students, as today is EARTH DAY.
so we just had to stand infront of those counters and explain to them that,



IKEA will not be giving free plastic bags anymore, and that they either make do with the free ones that we're giving away, or they can purchase another bag that cost only $1.20 (bloody huge) which is strongly encouraged.


DIGRESS: we saw may and choy! LIGHTEN UP EYES! =D they are drop-dead gorgeous!
THE CUSTOMERS:
total AP.
and we 4 "ambassodors" had to emphasize these recycling bags were FREE.
F.R.E.E.
FREE.
It's really showing the true characteristics of Singaporeans can?!
LIKE. when i'm just telling them it's earth day and blah blah blah.... the bottomline is
"is it free anot? if not i dont want it"

they would rather carry all that barang barang than to spend that freaking $1.20
and one guy was like saying, "i will not come anymore!"
WTH.
okay. so maybe i'm making a mountain out of a molehill; but is it a little too RIDICULOUS?
some are just totally ignorant that other parts of the world are practising such measures, and Singapore should just follow suit.
APPROACHED:
I was approached by this customer i had to promote to, and she passed me her name card saying
"i'm looking for part-timers, you could come and try out. I like your attitude."
Stunned, but it's really cool! It's really my first time being approached at. Sometimes looking at my friends being approached but not me, the feelings kinda demoralizing. Like "why cant the person just approached BOTH but only one? make my day so dull," that sort of mood.
hahha, at least my day isnt that bad, after unravelling the through colours of Singaporeans?
