i was checking for the DSA to JCs. Me and Tsui Fen have a few in mind dOh,

1. Hwa Chong JC? *seems faraway*
2. National JC? *not that bad, as they have AEP*
3. Catholic JC
4. Nanyang JC

oh well, for Hwa Chong Institution they require:

• - Leadership potential and outstanding self qualities such as resilence, integrity and compassion
• - Talented in sports or performing arts (e.g. choir, debate, dance, etc) or academic areas (e.g. mathematics, science research, etc)

• Checklist for submission:

  □Application Form

  □Certified true copies of academic results of Sec 3 to Sec 4 and the PSLE result

  slip. Please include your Sec 4 mid-yr result (if any) in your submission.

  □Certified true copies of all other supporting documents e.g. CCA

  Achievement, CIP records, scholarship etc.

  □Portfolio of achievements/awards and evidence of special talent, if applicable.

  □Sealed Teacher's Reference Form (Optional)

  (Do not send the reference form separately. Your teacher should return the form

  in a sealed envelope to you for you to include in your application.)
  

ok, this spells trouble. PSLE result slip! i did badly for that in P6! Zack asked me to bia la.Men, Still have the sec 3 result slip!! DIE. ok, maybe i go try for HCI, but if cannot then nevermind.

next is National JC

• Applicants will be shortlisted for either
  (1) having excellent secondary school academic track record and/or
  (2) possessing special talent in specific areas - Science Research, Athletics, Canoeing, Chinese Orchestra, Choir, Dance, Symphonic Band, Shooting and Table Tennis.

• Only short-listed candidates will be invited for the General Ability Test (GAT) and Academic Ability Tests (AAT).

  General Ability Test (GAT) Non-verbal problem solving and analytical thinking Academic Ability Test (AAT) Mathematics English

  A non-refundable fee of $50 is payable for the administration and cost of the test.

  All successful candidates will be invited to attend an interview or trial.

I think i've got hope for National JC, as they supports AEP. And that's where my Art Club comes! ahha...

To Alson: they have this Language Elective Programme (German), might want to consider this JC .


next is Catholic JC.

• CJC will invite applications for direct admission to JC 1 in 2007 from students who are academically able and who are outstanding in at least one area of CCA.

dont blame me for not searching hard enough. this is all that they have stated.

next is Nanyang JC.

• They are accepting Sports and Games :

Combined School player or key players of winning teams at Zone/National level (1st -4th placing) in the following sports:
Volleyball Boys/Girls, Basketball Girls, Table-tennis Boys/Girls, Judo Girls, Rugby

• Performing Arts

SYO, SYCO members.

Outstanding musician / performer who had won awards in National Music Competition or its equivalent in the following performing groups: Choir, Modern Dance, Chinese Orchestra, Guzheng, Symphonic Band.

Yep, this one maybe still can bah. not sure leii. if like that de hua, Poly will be next. because i thought of wanting to go JC, cant bear the study life.
