Today, my sis and I attended a talk by Brother Michael, like those motivational talks.
AND. MY SIS, finds it USEFUL too!

schools should have more on this type of talks, what's the point being so cooped up with academic, yet not learning how to be more optimistic on life and other matters?

I wanted to share with you people what i've learnt today, however today, both my sis's and my enthusiasm were disrupted by this uber boring prize presentation held at Old Parliament House there. =.=

The last time i attended this talk by Brother Michael, he stopped at 2-3 effective habits.
This time round, IT'S THE SAME. I had to leave in the midst of the motivational talk, much hesistated. But i will share with you all the 7 habits! =D

1. Be proactive
2. Begin with the end in mind
3. Put first things first
4. Think win-win
5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood
6. Synergise
7. Sharpen the saw

Well, with me listing out all, it doesnt make much difference if i dont explain. So, i will just bring across BRIEFLY. =)

At the Art House:

• Be proactive: THINK before you act. It's very important to think and analyse before we start reacting. e.g: "Why is he/she doing this to me?" "What have I done to make her mad?"
• Begin with the end in mind: Strong Vision was proven to be the most important factor out of Natural Intelligence, Strong Family Support to be a successful child. With a goal/aim in mind, we know what we want, we work towards it. =)
• Put first things first: Prioritise your checklist. Do important/urgent stuffs before going down to the least important stuffs. e.g homework before LAN, buy necessities then buy desires.

well. I can only share till here, cause i left before being introduced to the next habit.

The best part? It's brain-freeze temp in there. I was imaginating myself in some Northpole or something. =.= My sis and i just gotta let our legs fly us out of that art house. =( Hungry and cold isnt something good ya'know!

COSFEST'07

It's so grand this year, today, held at Ngee Ann City's Foyer, I had to walk through the metal detector! Of course it's no problem, just didnt think it would bring such high security level. My sis and i were discussing maybe they were afraid the terrorists would try to place flat bombs at Ngee Ann City to blast us, as such unusual costume festival usually bring crowds.

BUT IT WASNT ABT THE TERRORIST.

So it was LKY that came to view the crowd and join in the youngsters to have fun!
It's quite nice to see a 70++old man taking time out to join the youngsters, although i didnt get to see him. (was at Kinokuniya)

Was at Orchard area during evening, it's quite nice to see teenagers wearing green, although i dont know whether it's sincere or coincidentally that green was the colour they wanna wear today. WTV it is, it's still nice not knowing the truth, and be self-deluded? =x
